The Dream Machine is both a space for reflection and an active collaborator in vivid dream creation. A five-sided interactive & holographic cube, The Dream Machine and its participants are visible both from within and from outside the cube, varying in levels of translucency and brightness based on the interaction between the machine and the users.
Dream Machine made its debut in stage form at the Wavetrails Festival in Albuquerque, NM in October of 2024. It has been selected for a major art and community festival in May of 2025 and will be a centerpiece at the Currents New Media festival in Santa Fe in June 2025.
We are currently re-designing and fundraising for a more durable frame and portable infrastructure that would allow The Dream Machine to travel to Burning Man and other outdoor venues in 2025 and beyond!
